Welcome

Welcome to the Twentynine Palms Water District. The District is a public agency serving residents of Twentynine Palms and areas of unincorporated San Bernardino County.

The District is totally independent of all city and county governments. None of the revenue obtained by the District is used to subsidize non-water related activities or the activities of any other agency.

The District is governed by a locally elected Board of Directors. The members of the Board live in the community and pay the same water rates that all customers pay. The members of the Board are directly accountable to the residents of the community.

The District is dedicated to providing a safe and adequate supply of water at the lowest feasible cost to the people of the District and to preserve and protect the water resources within its established boundaries.

	Water Education Program

	May 2008 was Water Awareness Month and in coordination with the our water education program, the District sponsored its 2nd annual poster contest. Also, take a look at our Kid's Page for great games, sweet treats, and lots more!


	ANNOUNCEMENTS

	The Board of Directors next Regular Meeting to conduct Water District business will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. A regular meeting to conduct Fire Department business will be held immediately following the Water District meeting.
